Secret Surf Spot
On our way to a secret surf spot in Puerto Rico. Should we be having this much fun while we work?
Monster Waves
The hurricane has brought in 15 foot waves to the Aguadilla area of Puerto Rico. It is difficult to grasp exactly how large these waves are, but check out the little dot (a surfer) flying in the air at the 39 second mark. A lot of boards were broken this day, and tons of egos.
Site Inspecting Isabella
Watch us in action as we site inspect a property to be featured in Fodor's 2010 Guide to Puerto Rico. Just another typical day at the "office."
Racing the Hurricane
You can't tell, but we are actually racing a hurricane set to hit in the next few hours. Honestly . . . there is adventure in the works here! (feel the suspense).
Villa Montana
Luxury has arrived! Our first two nights in Puerto Rico were spent at the beach side Villa Montana in Isabella.
Jet Lag hits hard
Jet lag has conquered our vibrant spirits. My head tells me it's morning, my belly tells me it's night and my editor tells me to "get over it and bust out some site inspections!"
Airport Blues
After a 5 hour (packed) flight from San Diego to Washington DC, we somehow survived the 2 hour layover with a little guitar and coffee. Did I mention it was 3 a.m.?!!
Preparing for Puerto Rico
Don't be fooled by this video. Adventure is in store for all of you who "follow us" on this travel writing assignment to Puerto Rico.
